Obama on MTP

I don't usually watch "Meet the Press," but today's interview with Obama is worth watching:

There's lots of material to dissect and many ways to parse Obama's statements, but a couple things stood out: 1) Bush has been President since I've been politically aware (high school). In that context, it's jarring to see a president able to answer questions with coherent sentences. 2) Although we as a society place too much value on the Presidency, the President really does have a staggering impact on public policy.
